  62. Guest Room(#11681RLJA)
  63. This room has been set up for any furres who decide to spend the night at Thanny's house. A large bunkbed is set up against the wall, the bunks leaving plenty of room to move around on the bed. Next to the bunkbed is a nightstand, and on the opposite wall sits a mahogany rolltop writing desk, with a soft, cushy chair rolled underneath. Also sitting near the wall, is a very comfortable recliner, for anyone to sit and relax.

  124. Observatory of the Inward Eye(#14631RLJ)
  125. Grassy paths, shuttle lines, and light rail tracks connect a hill at the edge of the disk to the world at large. Where they meet, a copper dome overwhelms the dwindling horizon. The observatory's white ceramic walls and metal roofs help the complex bring to mind old high-voltage electrical equipment. A bright red sparkle between panels makes it gleam with energy!
  126.
  127. The surrounding hillside is placid and quiet, enough that much wildlife has found a comfortable home in the bushes and trees that surround the buildings. When the dome opens and the telescope's motors resound low through the ground, squirrels and birds watch with peculiarly knowing interest.
  128.
  129. At the base of the round flat structure that supports the dome, stained glass doors in a jagged pattern swing open and inviting.

  135. Newcomer's Island(#1603RDA)
  136. This appears to be a rather constrictive inkwell, jammed full of characters. A little bit of Vulpes Flourinectie ink drops on you; through it one can see the rose garden that's out there and the people in it. Among other things, the world outside the inkwell offers housing that isn't so cramped, or so wet.
  137.
  138. You might choose to visit the Rose Garden by typing 'out', or the park of the day by typing 'park'. You can return to this area by typing 'new'. If you're new to MUCKing, you can get a short list of important commands by typing 'commands'.
  139.
  140. If you'd like a character, you can page a wizard who's on duty -- they're listed by typing 'wizzes' -- or if none are available, send an email with the name you want and some information about your character to character@spindizzy.org and if there's no difficulties, the persona will be created. It's highly recommended to take look around SpinDizzy and talk to other residents before requesting a character.
  141.
  142. If you *have* a character and would like automated help setting it up, or re-setting it, you may wish to try typing the 'setup' command from here. You can get help finding a home by typing 'homefinder', or type 'homefinder #help' for more options.
  143.
  144. If you need help, try paging helpstaff or a wizard (type 'helpstaff' or 'wizzes' for a list of such people), or for basic help type 'commands'.

  208. Patashu's Personal Quarters(#29396RLJA)
  209. While the base is constantly busy manufacturing and researching and testing and shipping and soforth, Patashu often desires to have a space of his own to work on personal projects or to have discussions with friends and associates. The quarters start with an open foyer of sorts - having a lounge and holographic computer systems, workbenches and scientific equipment and a table (with the company logo emblazoned in gold along its surface) that can be used for conferences, gaming and eating just as easily. (Of course, there are amneties for organic visitors - food, water, beds and all!) (Oh yes, and there IS a pile of 'cushions' and 'beanbags'.) From the holographic screens, all activity of the base can be monitored, and base databases/security feeds accessed. Off to one side, a personal hangar has a huge, rotary rack of different robotic parts and even alternate bodies that can be swapped into and out of, as well as a maintenance system with automated scaffold lined with robotic arms. Kobolds clean, maintain and can be called upon for any necessary task. Posters and blueprints line many of the walls, some of them of products the base builds, some of them gaming related or based on legendary mecha, and the noise of the surrounding base is (mostly) dampened.

  291. Road to Roaring Industry (N11 W2)(#14640RLJ)
  292. An asphalt covered road has lead you to a barbed wire fence, the security gates held over. But it's what's beyond that's more interesting - you see in the distance a sprawling industrial complex, leading right up to the edge of the disc and even a little further, spreading and expanding as its needs for space require satisfaction - perhaps even into hyperbolically compressed geometry and other dimensions. The rumble of machinery and manufacturing is a dull thrum, and smoke pours into the sky, tinting everything with a dark haze at all times of the day, blotting out the sun and stars alike. Seems you can walk right in if you wish to explore further.

  301. Spaceport(#29408RLJ)
  302. Right on the edge of the disc is the Patashu Industries Base spaceport. Due to the unique geometry of Spindizzy, it's much more like a traditional airport than you'd expect - runways, landing pads and hangars extend right up to (and even into!) the void of space, the atmosphere and gravity meaning that ships can take off and leave straight into the 'space' beyond. Kobold crews and wheeled vehicles are busily moving around to pack and unpack aerospace vehicles moving between hangars and launches. Of course, not all the spaceships are pragmatic in design - others are sculpted like majestic and impressive robotic dragons, gryphons and other species. And for needs where directly lifting something into orbit is needed, the grandeous Space Elevator sticks straight up as far as you can see, even when you tilt your head back and squint, a towering needle that eventually ends in some kind of circular dome covering a small part of the sky like a moon.

  311. Vlier City Ring(#32553RJA)
  312. A misty city stretches on in only two directions, curving upward around a gravity deck, bounded in the others by buildings gradually agglomerating into denser groupings and then solid bulkhead. The buildings seem to compete with each other, not for space, but for boldness. Strange shapes, exotic claddings, and esoteric architectural concepts abound! Some of these are surely just vast sculptures and not useful buildings.
  313.
  314. Sounds echo oddly around the ring-shaped space. Occasionally, machinery at the core of the ship makes the sky reverberate, and the impact resounds through the city several times like low rolling thunder.
  315.
  316. A glow-panel sky mimics a solar cycle and even some curious weather events, but the city bustles day and night. The doors of cafes and workshops and other establishments generally leave their doors open to multi-level walkways, with passing creatures gathering inside or out on adjacent streets.

A little bit of Vulpes Flourinectie ink drops on you; through it one can see the rose garden that's out there and the people in it. Among other things, the world outside the inkwell offers housing that isn't so cramped, or so wet.
  322.
  323. You might choose to visit the Rose Garden by typing 'out', or the park of the day by typing 'park'. You can return to this area by typing 'new'. If you're new to MUCKing, you can get a short list of important commands by typing 'commands'.
  324.
  326.
  327. If you *have* a character and would like automated help setting it up, or re-setting it, you may wish to try typing the 'setup' command from here. You can get help finding a home by typing 'homefinder', or type 'homefinder #help' for more options.

  612. S5 W7 City Hall(#212RL)
  613. City Hall is a transparent, slightly dome wide-set at its base, with the swirling patterns of half-started spectrums swirling around the flimsy shell. The shell itself seems almost to breathe, as it flexes in the breeze and the changes of the people around it. A copper arch marks the most fixed spot and the easiest entrance to the hall.
  614.
  615. Around the globe a sparkling array of smaller globes cling to the exterior, each an office or a room or department, and these rooms swirl around as if to off-vertical ferrous wheels on a structure imitating a soap bubble.
  616.
  617. The park outside City Hall softly rises and falls, with spots of leaves and flowers of all colors popping into and out of being easily, and more rarely but still sometimes shrubs or bushes or even the odd tree makes it appearance, or exit, quietly but ever changing the light of the center.
  618. Clouds begin rolling over the sky in the cold air, causing the snow blanketing everything to look darker. It feels like about 4 pm.

  650. Patashu's Personal Quarters(#29396RLJA)

  1022.
1023. You might choose to visit the Rose Garden by typing 'out', or the park of the day by typing 'park'. You can return to this area by typing 'new'. If you're new to MUCKing, you can get a short list of important commands by typing 'commands'.
  1024.
  1026.
1027. If you *have* a character and would like automated help setting it up, or re-setting it, you may wish to try typing the 'setup' command from here. You can get help finding a home by typing 'homefinder', or type 'homefinder #help' for more options.
  1028.
1029. If you need help, try paging helpstaff or a wizard (type 'helpstaff' or 'wizzes' for a list of such people), or for basic help type 'commands'.
